Progression of a Container, #4

Secretly, I did not want this one to sell. The center plant, or “triller”, Carnival Amaranth, was promising quite a show. It did not disappoint.

The original design featuring a Carnival Amaranth from Langley specialty annuals, coral calibracoa, blue lobellia and golden child ivey.

Sadly the calibrachoa acquired aphids and had to be replaced. We were out of that color, so I subbed in yellow nemesia to ‘talk to’ the yellow of the amaranth.
